Hey guys my name is Alex and i am a newbie to the forum, so the other week i picked up a 1970 GTO with a 428 the car runs and drive pretty well although needs a tone up since it has been sitting for 5 years, the interior is in excellent condition as you can see in the second picture. The outside needs body work and paint. would like to get some paint ideas from you guys, i am thinking HOK black pearl please let me know if that a nice color for this car and please post pictures if you have any of this paint. This is what i am thinking about the last pic. check it out and follow my updates. Thanks!

Hey, Alex I'm only new myself, but welcome. If that 55 has thew colour your thinking of-wow! That colour will show off the muscle of the body lines really well. Nice choice. What are your plans for ride hight and rim and rubber set up? Stealthy black or polished?

Thanks Angelo, I am not to sure on the whole set up yet, since i only got it a week ago i haven't given it much though. I think i an going to go stealth on the chrome since there is not much on the car. As far as the rims i have a nice set of BMW Hamann wheels, i think some one said the the offset is the same not sure though, i will have to give it a try and see how it would look. Here are the wheels

lol you are right about the 4x4 part it took me 3 different jacks to lift it, none of them could lift it high enough.

Great Project! Wheels will look great once the stance is corrected. What plans do you have for the car?
