I wasn't sure which section was more appropriate for this. So move as necessary.
Just to help other members out. If you are in the market for any control arms or other items from SPC Performance, I found a killer deal on them. It is not a site sponsor, but they may possibly become one with enough interest? I am not affiliated with them by any means.
Check out http://thmotorsports.com/
Use promo code SPCPerf37OFF
Example for first gen camaro
uppers: retail $186.23 each --- after discount $176.05
lowers: retail $393.26 pair --- after discount $371.78
no tax and free shipping
Hopefully this may help some folks out.

Where do they retail for either of those prices anywhere else? I have been in search for quite awhile and those prices are substantially lower than jegs, summit, and some of the sponsors here that i have spoke to.
The point of the post was not just the discount, but even this company's retail price is much lower than others. The discount is just a bonus.

Interesting that they share an address with this place. http://autoplicity.com/ I believe there is one more online retailer that operates out of that same address that is geared towards the import crowd. Can you imagine, not one, but two HUGE warehouses, with everything in stock ready to ship at a price lower than everyone elses?
In fact it is some desks in some old office space, they stock nothing and have very little technical knowledge. They rob sales from people who actually support your hobby and will not be there to help with any problems you may encounter during your install. They do this by discounting parts to a point that no brick and mortar retailer can compete with and stay in business. They routinely violate pricing structures put in place by manufacturers. The part I really can't figure out is that they are not direct with anyone (to my knowledge) and purchase their "stock" from another warehouse.

DC, your post obviously have good intentions and don't be discouraged by the posts of sccacuda and dontlifttoshift. Their intentions are good as well. Dontlift's post is on the money and there is a real passion for those business' truly interested/involved in the industry/sport and we can take it personal when a company operates outside the unwritten rules and ethics of business. I personally try to walk the line of a great deal on a product and doing business with a company who truly is involved with the sport. Long story short, thanks for the info/post.

I completely understand what you are saying. I did aftermarket accessories for cars and trucks, including drag racing for almost ten years. The reason why I am no longer in it? Because you can NOT compete with Jegs or Summit unless you go direct. There is not a wholesaler in the country who can discount enough to be relatively close to retail prices of jegs, etc. Your bread and butter items, msd, edelbrock, comp cams, crane, holley, earls, etc.... you were lucky to make 15-20% on those. Volume was the only way to make money.
I loved the business, but hated the money side. Majority of the guys at jegs and summit don't know much more than their own personal experiences or what they heard from others, so they really aren't much different than this "drop shippers". I do most of my own research and draw my own conclusion, so I don't have to blame anyone else for a bad decision.
In today's time, price means alot to most folks. I saved over $200 on these arms, I was just trying to help those out who already know what they want. Sorry to disturb.

If you order them online for that price, they will cancel the order and refund your money. Ask me how I know?

Seeing as Summit will price-match, you can always use that link as leverage to get the arms from a trusted retailer for the same low cost.

No apologies required. My post wasn't directed at you but more of a public service announcement for people that may not have known. You were in the business so you understand. I don't even try to compete on the bread and butter items like you listed but I will say that Motorstate makes it possible for us to price match the catalog guys and still make a few bucks to keep the lights on.....it sucks when all you are doing is trading dollars.
It is really tempting to shop price, especially when you already know exactly what you want, but in the long run I believe that supporting the business that supports your interest is the most cost effective.

They have been warned by SPC as those prices violate their MAP price program. Buy them from a reputable dealer...then you WILL get them and we can still offer GOOD prices! Its stores like those that ruin a manufactures value of their product! Shame....
