I have Hotchkis leafs on my 1st gen. In the past they were ok, but now that I have wider, stickier tires I have found their limit. I have lots of wheel hop and will ditch the leafs in the future. I am not surprised that I have wheel hop, there is not really much of a front bias built into these springs (that I can see), and there really does not seem to be anything special about them except for the higher rate. For now, I was thinking of adding some clamps to the front leafs to reduce wheel hop. How much will this affect handling?
