San Diego is beautiful that time of year!

Just sayin.....

Hopefully my car will be done and there.

Evan's little Sweetie should be ready, not to mention Tapout's Nova Wagon. This could work out great for the Nova family. Now if we can just finish up one of these Blue Ovals to bring out there we'd be set.

Thanks for the hard work Bill and the gang. Let me know how we can help.

I hope Evan's Camaro is ready to go, want to race him again on the speed stop...it was such fun beating him last time....:6gears:

I saw this out where the speed stop squared thing was last time:

is this a new twist on the speed stop? :O

I'm thinking maybe it's one of those HotWheels loop things..... Speed, loop, slalom, stop.

Need to go check my cage.....

It was used for some stunt stuff and I think Tanner Foust did them. Heard the entry speeds had to be pretty precise to get the loop and exits right ...

It was testing for the hot wheels thing. I was amazed at how often the cars didn't make it through the loop.

I am also awaiting any updates on this event?

Still probably going to be too tight between SCCA Nationals and this event to convert the car to a T56 and get comfortable with the change.... Might have time to do the front brakes on the supercharged car and get in a lap or two on the roadcourse with it though. ;-)

I just gotta ask. What happens when the cars don't make it through the loop? Do they run of one side or the other or do they fall off the top of the loop? I know how the Hot Wheels crash just curious if the real cars crash the same ways.

There's a target mph speed they shoot for. I think it's between 48-52 mph but don't hold me to this. If the entering speed is at the target and you keep the steering straight, all should be well ...

Very much the same way. They did crash, and surprisingly often. That crane pic is from the teardown, it looked different when they were using it.
