Anouther new guy from Ohio

Hello My name is Scott I am from Columbus, Ohio. I found this site from a link off of Detroit Speed's website and a link about The run through the hills event. I missed the Power tour this year due to the car not finished in time so I have been looking for a replacement vacation. I am looking at the Year one cruise but the RTTH looks really interesting as twisty back roads are like heaven.

Anyway I have a project 1968 Cougar that has the complete AJE front suspention and was getting a 393w and a tko ... Till the coyote motor came to market. So the Cougar not being done led me to buy my 1980 Fairmont to drive till the Cougar is done. I then put the 393w and tko in the Fairmont (should be done this weekend) I sadly don't have any pics of either yet but will get some of the Fairmont this weekend

Very cool, My friend Craig had an ex Michigan Fairmont Police car that he used to autocross. He had swapped in everything out of an 85 GT that was t-boned. Instrument cluster and everything fit. Basically a 4dr Mustang. Even had the convertible chassis stiffening kit on it.
