Water in the oil, loss of compression. What I assume is only a head gasket, I just decided to take both off and regasket them. I'm starting to think the car is trying to tell me it hates me. It sure has earned it's name.

If it turns out that the gasket doesn't cure the issue, I'll have to assume its a cracked head or block, in which case, I'm going down the street and picking up an LQ 6.0 for 1100 dollars with 99k on it.

Check the head and block surfaces for straightness. If something is warped new gaskets will just blow again. You need a machined straight edge and feeler gauges

Damn, I just put both heads back on and didn't check the block. I did, however, check the heads, they were perfectly straight. Everything torqued down fairly easily, even with a good coat of thread sealer.
