Interesting project, but what does it have to do with Pro-Touring?

Well after his death I posted some of the pics for your fellow PRO-TOUR enthusiast who wanted me to send up dates on the #10 Vega. So It was posted for them. But his inventions he came up with, are still being used in both pro-stock and pro touring. Hope this answers your question.

Thanks for posting! Jenkins engine book helped me build my autocross engine for my 67 Camaro, so I'd say his work affected Pro-Touring and Road Racing engine development.

Thanks so much for restoring a racing legend. I have always been a fan of hot rodded Vegas of all kinds. Here is a link to one near me that was just finished at a local shop. Pretty sweet car with Edelbrock fuel injected 383, 700r-4, 9" rear, tubular front with coil overs and 3 link rear with coil overs. Would like to have seen bigger wheels, but the owner of the car, I gues was afraid of sacrificing the ride... http://www.hotrod-express.com/

Very cool!!-nice Mustang.too. I'm kind of surprised by how sparse the chassis is between the front and rear suspensions-I would have expected to see rectangular tubing connecting the two.
