Helmet HUD? Nifty.

Defi (Japanese gauge vendor) also makes a HUD that's a windshield projector. It's a universal application. Their gauges rock, too.

That defi heads up windshield display is awesome! I was looking at my buddies Z06 and trying to figure out how to incorporate the HUD into my '68. I hope they'll come out with a better display (eg: tach and speedo both being viewable at the same time) by the time I'm ready for it.

I can't drive with a HUD...they're too distracting. I think they're cool however, I like the idea. But I'd never put one on my car.

I agree, I find it very hard to drive with it mostly at night. There is just too much going on. Maybe something with just a speed reading.
I did like my hood tach on the GTO...
Ralph,I think you can easily make something up, I was toying with the idea of a Dakota digital speedo mounted in the dash with a prism to reflect the mirror image up to the glass. The glass itself would reflect it the right way.
