I did some searching and couldnt find anything. I am running Chassis works front/rear end setup. Stock inner fenders, 2'' drop spindals, rear has (will soon have) narrowed nine, DSE mini tubs. Half height aluminum body bushings. What my question is what size tire and what backspacing will I need to get maximum tire in the front and what sizes to fit the 335's in the rear. Im stumped on the width of the nine inch as well, I want to run a large lip on the front and the rear. Any help or links would be greatly appreciated.....Thanks

You are going to have to measure with the narrowed nine. No idea what backspacing will be required. You are too far from stock for anyone to give you advice. You will need to get one of those wheel mimicking tools. Maybe you can fudge it if you have the tires you want to use.
Chassisworks might be able to help for the fronts....

That makes sense, I will end up talking to chassis works and have them give me a FAB9 to their specs. I was looking around for a similar build but I havet had any luck. Plenty of builds just none with the Alston fron/rear setup. Thanks though......

Chassis works should be able to tell you what front wheel size and BS works with their suspension. But for the rears the best process would be to select the wheel/tire combo you want to run. Then mock the wheel/tires up under the car. Once you have the wheels where they fit nice under the car you can measure between the wheel mount surfaces and order a 9" from any number of vendors in the correct width. I purchased my bare 9" Floater from Moser and then welded on the Chassis works brackets.

Just a little update, I have the mini tubs in and done most of the vintage air installed and just got all the four link stuff finished and put back under the car. Still need to run back over it all and install the rear sway bar but for the most part its done, Kinda a lot of work lol...
The spec on the rear wheels and tires are 18*12 with 5.5bs and 335/30 tire
I figure someone will ask haha, Its a ride tech four link with weld on brackets and a rear end width of 56.25 axle flange to flange, ( but measure yours if you afe doing this).
If you have any questions just ask and I will do my best to answer them, after all thats what this is all about.

Kevin,
I may be too late to help you out, I just saw this today. I'm not sure if you have our complete front clip or if you have the stock clip as you mention a 2" drop spindle which is not used on the Chassisworks clip. Assuming you DO have the CAC bolt on front clip, you can run a 295 up front and 335 rear without any complication. You can probably go wider, especially up front, but we haven't had anything wider to try on a car. The limiting factor is the stock inner fender panel so backspacing will depend on tire height.
On the rear, we offer FAB9 housings narrowed in 1/4" increments all the way to 5-1/4" narrow then it jumps to the max narrowed width of 7-1/2".
The housing worksheet can be downloaded in the tech section of our website. Click Here for Tech (http://www.cachassisworks.com/cac_tech_articles.html)
If you have any questions give me a call at extension 247.

Thanks Carl, Im not running the CAC front clip. It's a stock genII with CAC uppers/lowers and coilovers. I will be running your sway bar as well. Looking at running a 40/18 up front just not sure of the wheel bs/and tire and wheel width. Im looking for a wheel that will have the largest "lip" possible. I want the max proven width with no issue on the setup mentioned above. Any info is greatly appreciated, THANKS!
