The installation kit is excellent. I love the spindles as well. They are really outstanding in everyday. They were much easier to install than I expected. I went from a 27.5" height at the front wheel well to to 25". It was more than I expected. With a 25.8" new tire it wasn't long before I was almost sitting on the tire.

I have original discs and I had to cut a small piece off the bottom of the caliper bracket for it to fit flush on the spindle. I also had to buy some shorter screws to bolt the caliper bracket and the dust shield up without hitting the sway bar mount. That was it for having to make it work the rest was a joke.

I bought some 5/8" spring spacers to get it up about 1.25" at the wheel well. Not as low as I hoped but the 8" with 4.75 backspace wheels with 235/45/18" just didn't give me enough room to feel comfortable without rubbing.

nothing compliments a nice set of wheels and tires more than an altitude adjustment.

Thanks everybody. I love the look too.

Rears:I have a fender roller on the way. The back is sharp as a knife especially with the chrome trim. If I can feel comfortable a light bump won't hurt the tires Ill take the rear spacer out. Now for the kicker I have 18x10.5 with 6" BS with Toyo 315 TQ's. THey have a very light bulge. After BFH-ing the inner fender wells some and using a ratcheting strap to pull the exhaust in a 1/4 inch I have plenty of lateral room inside with only a 3/16 spacer. I think I can ditch the inner spacer as soon as I get new shock mount plates. This thing still had the mono leaf perch. THe perch hit the inside wheel with a 2" drop block. I heard about a Pontiac wide track thing allowing/needing more backspace but I have a chevy 12 bolt with drums so I think that wouldn't apply. So when I get the roller, change the perch Ill pull the spacer out and see what I have. If I could it all over again I'd get nitto nt-05r or even the 555r's they arent as wide as the toyos.

Fronts: I see some 67/68 cars in pics that look as low as mine (without 5/8" spring spacer) and I can't see how you can get around without some serious rub up top. Maybe they have air ride and they lay them down for the pics. I took the two fender bolts out above the tire but there is no way in the world I could run them with the current 25" height. I will end hopefully at 26.25" which will give me 1.5 to 2" of vertical travel.

Rears: It was a 28" wheel well height and I was holding up a 2" block. I ended up at a 1" block. I think they fit pretty well. I didn't expect it. I thought they would stick out too far.

Have you driven it yet? My tires don't stick out that much and rub when I hit a good bump or get in a little twist situation. I don't have the trim either.

Not yet because the fronts too low and I dont have the fenders rolled or the rear swaybar in. No doubt to run a width like mine you have to make sure when it rubbs and it will that it wont hurt anything. Rolling the fender is a must. Also you will articulate way more than you'd like pushing a wheel into the fender if you dont have a sway bar in the back. Make sure you do both and you should be ok. If it still doesnt work I have used a pinion snubber to limit the travel on bump driving down the road.

If I knew who I could trust to do it in town I would have done it already ..youre right

It isnt bad I get to bring them in around 1/4" once I get the caltracs installed.

Excellent wheel choice. I've been contemplating the LM20s for a while, but hadn't seen them on an F-body yet. You just made my decision a lot easier.
