I am building a midyear vette resto-mod any good shops in the Massachusetts area? I am doing all the mock up and assembly work myself I need a good shop that can handle all the body modifications, body work, paint, etc. Has anyone used Chop Shop Customs in Woburn MA ?
Thanks

Lenny at Chop Shop Customs is one and you can also try Peter Newell at Competition Specialties in Walpole. There's more out there but I've worked with these 2 shops.

Thanks . I have allready been talking with Lenny at chop shop and Stan from 2nd gen restorations. I will give Peter a call. I just want to do all my home work and make sure I can establish a good working relationship before commiting to a shop. Who new? All these shops right in my backyard.

There's also Accurate Performance in Hyde Park. You'll want to talk to either Nick or Russ Capobianco. I did some work on a yellow 33 Speedstar they were building for one of my clients.

If you have any other questions I'm happy to help answer them. I can also provide a great reference from the Camaro resto mod that is somewhere on this board too!

Not too far from Mass- Ray at Corvette Center in Newington CT really knows his c1 and c2's, and has done several notable restomods such as -- http://mecum.com/auctions/lot_detail.cfm?LOT_ID=FL0112-121259&entryRow=1080
I've been really impressed by their body shop.

Tim Reed at Reed Automotive in Grafton MA. He did a good amount of body work on my camaro. Came out awesome. Here's a link to my build. If your interested I can give you his phone number.
