I'm BAAAA-AAACK!

It's been a while, but things have been going really well for me, and I decided that I couldn't stand to be away from the Pro-Touring group much longer. A recent business venture between two companies, and being in the right place at the right time, has given me the opportunity to become the new owner of a very nice ride.
Her name is Sweet, and she's an almost fully restored 1968 Mustang that proudly calls my garage home. I bought her in April, for my girlfriend and I to enjoy, and although this year she will just attend car shows, I plan on having her out to some Pro-Touring autocross events next season. She still sits on 44 year old suspension components, and the slightest cornering loads cause the fenders to dig into her 245 width tires, so I need to do some serious upgrades over the winter.
I seriously look forward to seeing the group again, and running with you guys in a more appropriate car. That being said, I am still campaigning the RX-8, and enjoying much success with it.

New rear quarters or did they delete the rear markers?

What direction are you going with the suspension? So many choices these days.

Every panel on the car has been replaced, the only thing original is the roof. As for suspension, I've been doing a lot of research, and I'm leaning toward a full Global West setup, but Koni coilovers up front and Konis in the rear. It needs a Steeroids rack & pinion as well. Oh, and the drums at all 4 corners have got to go!

Will have to check on the color, not sure what Ford calls it. I still have a long way to go before I consider myself a Mustang expert. This is the first Ford I've ever owned.
I've considered rolling the fenders, but I think I would have to lose my chrome trim. More research....

I just received my roller yesterday and plan to due mine this weekend. It has trim also, I'll let you know how it turns out.

My dad painted his 67 fastback, 68 and 70 verts that same color.

I'd advise against rolling especially if your intend to run the trim. Trimming the quarter lip might be a better option, you can also trim the stainless to match the quarter after you cut them.

The current power plant is a rebuilt, blue-printed & balanced 302. Since the previous owner built the car for his wife, he stuck a 2 bbl carb on it. Would love to take that off, slap on an Edelbrock intake, and top it off with an MSD Atomic Fuel injection. Other than that, she stays stock. I'm even leaving the C4 tranny in there.
