Anyone have specs for Hotchkis front springs for second gens? Rate , free height , installed height, wire diameter. Trying to compare for a friend what they will do compared to some old Guldstrand springs we have.
And please don't say that is "proprietary" and shouldn't be given out.

I have a set of 1908F's if those are the springs you're looking for? I could mic the spring and measure the free height. If I recall correctly the springs are in the 650# range.
What are the Gulstrand rates? From looks alone they look a tad heavier than my 950's, maybe 1100's?

You know the Guldstrands they told me back in the 80s when I bought them and their Bilstein shocks were in the 700 range.
The Guldstrand's have a 5534 stamped in them. I bought some new MOOG 5534 and they are the same wire diameter but seem just a hair taller. The Guldstrands were good on height if not the slightest bit tall iron head Pontiac motor A/C full street trim. Specs: .760 wire 11.00 IH 2551 load, 536 lbs/in 15.83 free height
The S-10s CS 5664 I ran in Camaro autocrossing-iron head SBC scattershield and 4 speed PS, PB not much else on the front end were fine height for me. One guy on the Z28 board said they were too low for his car. .760 wired 10.75 IH load 1863, 767lbs/in rate 13.18 free height. figure a 10.50IH and get a 2055 load-about what 6cylinder Camaro/Firbird springs have listed. Those 6 cylinder have only a 297 rate and a 17.45 free height. Funny thing though weigh a 6 cylinder Chevy and a SBC -not alot different!
Compared to a HD stock TA .705 wire 10.50 IH 2324 load 399 lbs/in rate, 16.44 free height.
