Hello guys

I am in the process of getting a remote starter solenoid kit to install in my 68 camaro, and I realized that there are so many brands or suppliers like Allstar Performance, MAD electrical, and Painless Performance kit, which is more expensive compared to the rest of the kits mentioned.

My question is this, is there any difference between these kits as far as the quality and reliability go or all are the same?

Guys I really appreciate your input on this matter

I just go to Autozone or any parts store and ask for a solenoid off a '70's/'80's Ford Pickup. It's the same thing used in most of the "kits" for about $10. The rest of the kit is just some crimp terminals and wire which I usually have an abundance of anyway.

Thanks Andrew for the info, I guess I will get it from auto parts store like you mentioned.

While kits are nice in that you don't have to shop for all the pieces, they are usually way overpriced. In this particular case, I would definitely take BigBlockOlds' advice and do it yourself. You can get quality stuff at Delcity, Waytech and many others. I use Delcity myself for all of my electrical needs, they're an awesome vendor.
