Can someone point me to a tutorial on the best way to tune an engine with the motor in the car? I've got a mild 350 in my 1963 Impala and I think it could use a good tuning. We recently installed an MSD Pro-Billet distributor, new coils and wires. The carb is an Edelbrock 1405. It's been a long time since I've really worked with cars so I'm looking for a refresher or pointers for the best way to tune the engine for best performance. I appreciate any tips you can provide!

I had my car dyno tuned by a local shop on a chasis dyno. He changed some carb jets and adjusted my timing. I picked up 40lb torque and 16 hp to the wheels.

There's a good sticky on TC for setting up timing and vacuum advance: http://www.camaros.net/forums/showthread.php?t=150344&highlight=adjusting+timing
