Hello,
I have been in the DFW area for about a year now and rarely see G-Machines cruising around. Further, there are no clubs with this type of hobby emphasized in the area (that I know of). I figure that the night of the arrival of the Hot Rod Power Tour in Arlington (June 8th) would be a great time for all of us to being networking. Is there anyone interested out there in meeting up the night of June 8th? Reply back to the post or to my email at
[email protected] if you are interested. Thanks,:twothumbs

Call Tim Mason at HCC Performance
Phone: 214.819.8011
I got to know him when I bought one of his 1st pro-touring builds, a beautiful 70 Chevelle. He is a car lunatic and knows all the car happenings in DFW.

Does HCC Performance do good work? I'm going to be looking for a shop to do my trans am in the coming months to a year or so and have been endlessly researching local shops while my car fund inches higher =x

How about we all meet up outside the event somewhere and parade in together?

I may be a bit prejudiced as I got friendly with Tim before I bought the car off him. He is very smart and an early pro-touring adopter as he was building LS motor cars in the early 00s. Go to his web site and check it out http://www.hccperformance.com/. My suggestion is give him a call and visit his shop later in the day, especially Friday, and bring a couple 6 packs of your favorite Texas brew and judge for yourself.

I actually saw the Black 67 chevelle in person Last year out at GG. It is indeed a very very nicely built machine.

Not sure what the Optima schedule is for that day but it might be fun to be a spectator group for the event.

I was wanting to join in on the last leg and parade in with the long haulers but I just can't get excited about the I-35 route from OK into Dallas. Guess I will just head to the the Venue and see everyone as they arrive.

I guess I missed most of you guys if you were there. They were running us like cattle in the face off event I didn't get a chance to see all cars in the show areas. The optima/ride tech AX /& willwoood speed stop challenge was a blast.
Texas Paul other than sharing a big grin in line waiting for another run I didn't get a chance to meet you. Anyhow that's is one fine T/A. Congrats on your win & invite to the big show. Here are a few pic's from the event.

Thanks Rocky, I have been flying high since the invitation from Optima. This will be a experience I will greatly appreciate for the rest of my life. That was my first time to do any of that and I had a blast!! I am sorry I didn't come over and introduce my self but you are right, everything was so fast pace that the day flew by. I arrived 15min before the drivers meeting. It took for ever to get out of Paul's Valley at Cover Craft on the Hot Rod Power tour that I almost missed the Challange.
