if so i need a favor. i need a "real world" measurement of how tall the mounted tire is. the calculators on the various websites are off by as much as 1.5" on about 75% of the measurements, so really dont trust them. would feel much better if someone tells me "it's "x" tall monted up... thanks!

looking at the nitto invo's like sr71 has on his car. right now, i have a pair of 20x8.5" with 245/40-20's from another vehicle test fitted. according to the various calculators, the 295/35 is only about 1/2" taller which would be fine. i'm looking at going with 10" wide wheels & shouldn't have a problem there, as my old wheels were 9.5" with plenty of room. if the 295's are close in diameter to the 245's fitted now i should be in great shape. i've got plenty of room for the extra 2" in width of the tread. all i need to do is move my rear end back about 3/4" to center it in the wheel openings.

sr71, were you at the nsra show last weekend? we went up fri & came back sat.
on a 20x10, the outside face is 27.5" and the overall bulge to bulge is 28".
no, I wasn't at nsra. started a new gym routine that friday and was laid up sat with severe doms. 20 squats owns me.

every tire is different i had a bunch of 19 and 20 today taking measurements and went with a 295-35-19 for my rears on my Mustang. Choose Michelin Pilot Super Sports, the P Zeros were much wider and bulkier so were the BF KDW's and the Continentals.
The Nittos seems to run on par with Michelins for sizing and have the nicest rounded sidewall edge. I use both Nitto and Michelin on all my cars.
