Hey guys, last winter I rebuilt my factory 12 bolt with c-clips, all new bearing, upgraded from drums to disc, new 3:73 gears and a master install kit. So as of now Im doing a new motor swap and looking to be pushing out anywhere from 600-800rwhp. I want to make sure my rear end can handle that. Rarely will I be at the track or strip. Tires are basic nitto 555Rs so no slicks. What do I need to do to make sure this thing does not grenade on me?

Aftermarket axles? If you haven't changed them yet, you are pushing your luck big time.

I have not changed the axles. Though they looked brand new when I rebuilt the rear, so im not sure if the previous owner did. Should I upgrade to a higher spline axle? I assume this would mean upgrade my carrier. Any type better than the other? This is going to be daily driven and rarely if ever tracked.
