Ordered Mother's Day flowers one week in advance for delivery on the 11th. The order was missing from my online account, and they hadn't arrived, so I called. Yes my order was in (they could not explain why it was not showing online even though that's how I placed the order). After getting the tracking number, I find out whatever florist they used did not get it to UPS in time and UPS doesn't deliver on Saturday's. So now I have nothing for Mother's Day. Not only that, but the delivery and handling added $20 to the cost of the flowers. Overpriced and under delivered. And why use a carrier that won't deliver on Saturdays?

Oh, and I was on hold for half an hour just waiting to talk to someone to hopefully straighten it out.

Waiting for this one to get sent to "Feedback". For flowers I choose Ralph's! You can pick up a pretty good tri-tip there too!

I used Proflowers twice for my wife and both times the flowers that were delivered were wilted and died within a day. Their customer service eanted to send more flowers...that doesn't work after the fact. I did get a full refund, but will only use the local market from now on.

I use the local supermarket... if they mess it up at least I can go over there and kick over the apple cart. lol

I use mom and pop as much as I can for everything.

Being in Switzerland and sending stuff to people in the States, I always use FTD. Two orders already delivered with no issues. I was sure to pick arrangements that would not be "shipped", but delivered by a local florist affiliated with FTD. Only complaint is the delivery charge, but it was worth it in the end.

Identical experience but one ordered delivered and currently living in London.
Got the thank you email this morning!

Given the internet and all the feedback available on line, I search for feedback on local florists, pick one that seems to be highly rated and call or go to their website. So far the results have been excellent.
