Leaf Spring Rubber Pads

The rear leaf spring has rubber pads in the middle of the spring where it is clamps to the rear end? I will be installing a Global West spring when it arrives. I have heard some say to leave the rubber pads off. Wouldn't this cause a lot of noise?

Rubber pads or not?

No.

Ditch the pads.... it isnt going to increase noise that you will even notice. Nor is any pad even necessary, in the first place.
