Just bought a completely stock, 350, 67 Camaro. First thing I'm looking to upgrade is exhaust. What should I go with?

Magnaflow on my 350 SBC, sounds great, no radio needed.

I used to be a flowmaster guy but just switched to the magna flows on my car. It's much better. Good tone but not obnoxious and the drone is gone. When I'm at the track it really opens up and screams.

Please don't forget to consider Tanabe, Apexi, or Greddy. All three brands offer excellent products and support, give Yushin a call at Tanabe and he'll hook you up, personally the Greddy 4 inch exhaust kit I installed on a friends stock engine 70 442 sounds amazing it's literally a breath of fresh air after dealing with all the over analyzed usdm brands

I switched from Flowmaster to Magnaflow and am very happy.

I had Flowmasters for 12 years and the drone was tiring, especially on longer trips. I swapped to Magnaflows last week. I love them! I plan to get a decent stereo now.

Bought a flowmaster on the advice of a friend and was never happy with the sound, too loud and raspy, and not at all happy with drone, especially in the 2500-3500 rpm range. Luckily it only lasted about 3 years before it bulged out and I had a good excuse to replace it, with a Magnaflow on the advice of the muffler shop guy. So much happier, gave me the exact deep sound I wanted and no drone. Magnaflow muffler was still going strong 10 years later when I sold the truck. Will definitely consider putting them on the Camaro, or maybe even Dr. Gas. I definitely think there are other mufflers out there that are worth checking out depending on the sound you want.

I had flowmaster 2 chambers on a fox mustang with a 500 hp EFI 347 daily driver. after several years had to replace because I was loosing my hearing. lol switched to magnaflows and overall was reasonably happy. I was however suprised that I saw no repeatable difference in rwhp on the dyno after the switch as I expected or hoped. I sold the car a year ago but if I had kept it was considering moving on to something else like borla pro XS.

I really appreciate the opinions everybody. So compared to the flowmasters, are the magnaflows really that much quieter? I'm looking for a deep, throaty sound that's still somewhat loud at idle or when I'm cruising around town. I would rather be on the louder side rather than the quieter side.

I have Flowmasters right now and also am interested in the Magnaflows (seems like everyone likes those that switch) but I am in the same boat, I dont mind the loudness and want that muscle tone.

I like quiet, driveable cars. A heavy exhaust is one area I'll add some weight for the sake of pro-"TOURING" 700 miles one-way drives to events will do that. 18" resonators followed by Dynomax Super Turbo's. Car makes enough noise on the inside so you know what is going on, and is respectably quiet on the outside. Cruising at 70mph is wind noise. Best comment I got in the Road Runner was "this thing is a gorilla in a tuxedo."

 I almost spit my coffee all over the key board!Too funny! LOL
I went with magnaflow stainless system and am very happy with the system. Nice and quiet when you want, and loud when you get on it! Just what I wanted!

Have a Magnaflow header back system on our 66 Chevelle convertible, 3"system behind a 496. Sounds WAY better than the Flowmasters that were on it before. Will be doing a Magnaflow system on our 68 Camaro too.

im a flowmaster delta flow guy. had 40 deltas on the old sbc and 50 deltas on my last two trucks and they are on the new build as well. cant stand the magnaflow or the traditional flowmaster sound (think every 5.0 youve ever heard). the deltas are perfect.
