Last week a thread was started offering a free Pro-Touring.com t-shirt for the member that guesses the maximum speed that OLC will reach on Brainerd Raceway next week during our run at the One Lap of America https://www.pro-touring.com/showthread.php?89081-Make-the-closest-guess-and-win-a-Pro-Touring-com-T-shirt James and I have tossed that subject around a bunch as well, and it will be fun to see who makes the closest call.
So, here's a little something that will take a bit more calculation to figure out. If you get the question right, you win a VaporWorx T-shirt!
1) Total number of gas stops through the event.
2) Total number of gallons of fuel consumed through the event (to the XXX.X accuracy.)
3) Total cost of fuel consumed through the event (to the XXXX.XX accuracy.)
To break a tie then the member closest on one of the other choices will be the winner. In other words, if two members guess 20 fuel stops, and that's how many OLC makes, the the tie-breaker will be who had the closer guess for the total number of gallons of fuel consumed. Ditto if there are any other similar ties.
To try and make this easier to tally, please make your responses in the following format:
Member Name
Stops: XXX
Gallons: XXX.XX
Cost: XXXX.XX
So if it was me making the guesses, the response would be:
CarlC
Stops: 12
Gallons: 123.45
Cost: 6789.99
You can add any comments that you want to in the post, just please make your choices in the format.
Get out your calculators!
