We have recently received a review from one of our customers regarding his levels of success with the balance bar upgrade. He had previously been running a standard type master cylinder along with an inline proportioning valve. The upgrade to the balance bar arrangement moved him right up in with the top contenders!

Racing season is coming to a close out here in California. If you recall you modified my Hydratech hydraulic brake assist system to accept a CNC Brakes balance bar assembly. I thought I would give you an update. I have four races in with the car since installing the new braking system. I race an all Corvette autocross series in northern California. The car has moved from a top 10 (overall) car to a top 5 car. My best finish was third and this is competing with roughly 70 cars including late-model modified ZO6's and dedicated, trailered race cars. I still drive my car 60 miles to the events. I wouldn't say it's comfortable, but it's streetable. I really appreciate all your help!

Nice, If i didn't already have a bunch of money tied up in my setup. I would defiantly get one of these. gonna have to add it to my 'Want List'.
But on a side note, any idea where your customer got the cool looking nuts he has has attaching the hydroboost to the firewall?

Back in the early 80s there were some bas a$$ early Vettes at N CA autocross events. A lot were held at the Pleasanton Fairgrounds.

Those are the nuts the system comes with for mounting. They are a 3/8-16 coupler with an allen head set screw in the one end. Makes installation a snap.

We have these nifty mounting nuts available in 3/8-16 Coarse Thread, 3/8-24 Fine Thread, and also M10 x 1.5 Metric Thread - 1/2" hex sizes custom machined, zinc plated, with black oxide Allen plugs installed in the outboard end for trick installed appearance. The idea behind them was to make installation a snap without worry of marring up the CNC machined T6 billet aluminum firewall mounting plates during installation. Some people love them, some others not so much...
Curious, which application / model number system of ours did you recieve? And where did you source it from? These particular fasteners do not apply to all systems, but are available - call us if you would like some!
