It appears that most boxes that I have seen are about the same size. I have a issue with a header tube sitting right on top of one of the inlets. Any suggestions? Its for a 69 Camaro, if it matters.

What box are you running, and what headers?

I know that DSE's box is bigger than the factory PS box. Don't know about others.

IROC box is physically the same as a manual first gen Camaro box.

What year model would I order for? I will give it a shot.

67rally to answer your question.... big block, factory ps box, hooker 2 1/4" super comps

Headers are non negotiable, I will fight manual steering before buying another set

Lee Power Steering in Sun Valley CA offers a nice 670 series box that is smaller than the old saganaw boxes. Great people

Specifically? I wouldn't know. I just went on TGO and found someone parting out an IROC and bought the box.

I would love to try one but they're not local and most small companies frown upon installing to check fit and returning because of. I dont want to be stuck with something that is of no use.

I have a 670 box (not from Lee) that fits easily, but I'm using Summit headers. I don't know how they compare to the Hooker headers.

I did order the inserts for the pressure and return lines from Lee, and they were very helpful. It might be worth giving them a call and seeing what their return policy is, they seemed pretty friendly on the phone.
