I'm finally getting my 68 Camaro painted after years of working on it. It's going to be black with the bumblebee stripe. I was all set on a white stripe, but I'm thinking I would rather have something a little more subtle, like charcoal gray/graphite. I searched all over the net and can't find a black 67/68 Camaro RS that's black with a charcoal/graphite bumblebee stripe, plenty of white and even red. If anyone has a pic of one or can photoshop one, I'd appreciate it.
Thanks!

I dig the color combo, and of course the car is nice, but that bumble bee stripe isn't quite right.

I agree about the stripe, but as far as the color goes, I was thinking maybe a shade darker.

I agree as well . The stripe is messed up , but figured it would give you an idea of the color combo .

Ha... I was about to suggest the same thing. Alternatively, is there some sort of "flip-flop" silver/black that could be used for a sort of "ghost" bumble bee?

Not so sure about the flat stripe. I seen pictures of newer Camaro's and Mustangs with flat/matte stripes, but they were decals. My painter is going to clear over the stripes so I don't think it would have the same "look". I was thinking of a dark charcoal color, like this combo. I need to start looking for a dark charcoal color.

Ford "CX" is a very nice dark charcoal color ! If you really want it to blend in you could do Ford Tuxedo Black Mettalic ( I believe its "UH" ) or GM "805K" Dark Spiral Grey . I will try and find some pics of the colors , but you can always run down to your local paint supplier or body shop and look at there color decks

That GM paint code 805k, dark spiral gray, looks good. I was searching the web and I found a pic of someone (maybe a Pro-touring member) who was thinking of painting their 68 Camaro a grey color. He posted this pic. The GM 805k is on the right. I think it would look great! :twothumbs
