Just thought I would take a few minutes to put my build up with a few photos. My Dad and I bought this car back in 1994 and did a frame off restoration. Also built a 455 Poncho motor that took it's last breath about 3 years ago. That was the point I decided to go ahead with the LS1 swap and found a totaled 99 Corvette locally that was wrecked. The LS1 had a T-REX cam and an LS6 intake, so a pretty good start. I kept going back and forth between an 402 LS2 I had built for my '99 WS6 TA at the time, or a using the LS1 and adding a Maggie blower or turbos. Well as the economy went into recession, so did my ability to fund the project. Long story short I had to sell the LS2, got divorced, moved 3 times in 2 years, and am finally in a place to get working on it again.
