I was just looking on ride techs web site for some suspension parts for my nova wagon and saw that they have heim joint rear bars as a $200 upgrade. I called and all the parts to upgrade my current kit ( never driven on ) will be $770. Man I wish knew they were going to come out with these ends and I would have waited :crying:

Maybe sell your kit & buy a new one?

Would also have to recommend this. It might still be a little more than $200 for you, but it would be less than a $700 loss.

You can buy end links for the upper and lower and cut and tap the lower bar for under 200 bucks.

this is what I was going to suggest. I went with johnny joints like what sc&c offers wich would go over the 200 dollar mark but tubing is cheap.

Im not a unhappy customer! Im just a little disappointed that I dont have the newer joints. I VERY satisfied with the quality and customer service that Ride tech offers

Just want to make it clear that this is NOT a bash on ride tech for any reason!

I was planning to do the same thing with my bars. I have a Ride Tech 4-link in the garage waiting to be installed and I am going to get it together on the car and then make a decision about johnny joint bars. I am really impressed with the kit though, can't wait to get it in the car.

I'd definitely recommend johnnhy joints over plain end links. I run the QA1 Kevlar and they have held up but they start to squeak from time to time and I have to lube them with silicone spray.

Just wanted to let everyone know that Ride Tech once again is giving great customer service. Rodney sent me his personal contact info on his day off to talk to me about a way that we could work out a deal on the new heim joints for my 4-link. They are on the way!!

Situations like this is why I will continue to purchase from Ride Tech!!!

Post a comment on the FEEDBACK section for others looking for good venders here. This is what customer service is all about. Seems like I don't see good service much anymore, so I like to give them a pat on the back when I receive it.
