This is a couple of shots of our Mustang project. The rest of the molds are still in layup, we should see the main dash part next and then the 2 piece door panels soon after that. I will update this as soon as each part comes out.

Pretty cool stuff you have going on. I'm excited to see the finished project. Are there any plans for future 70-72 Chevelle specific parts?

The 70-72 Chevelle would be fun, I would have to track down a body.

Interesting. A few too many planes going on though to wrap it with leather or synthetic, though, no? Do most just paint it?
The 69-73 mustangs have more modern cockpit like interiors and I think lend themselves to a custom console a bit more than the chrome-highlighted interiors of the earilier mustangs. Hint hint.

Too bad your not closer to me in WI, otherwise I might have been able to help you out. I'll be watching to see what you come out with next. I think your consoles are great, they offer a much more modern and expensive looking alternative than many of the other hot rod style aftermarket consoles out there.

The dash brow ,door panels and console can be wrapped in leather. We also offer them in vac form vynil.

Yes, they are fiberglass. 4 layers of 1.5 oz fg ( 3/16 Thick ) with white gel coat. Very stiff and durable

Thank You.
Are there other cars that share the 70-72 Chevelle platform?

As far as I know only the 70-72 Chevelle and Montecarlo share the same dash setup. I do know that there are Chevelle owners looking for an alternative aftermarket dash setup. There are several forums on here and the chevelle.com (Team Chevelle) forum discussing current available options and a desire for something new that's both good quality and affordable.

I'm one of them. Do you have any pics of one of your consoles in a Chevelle? I need to mount a cd player, my ridepro controller and some power window switches but I want to be able to retain my horseshoe shifter and factory shift plate. Cutlasses, Skylarks and GTOs from the same years should be basically the same I believe.

We have the molds finished. The car we are doing the first installation in is about an hour away, We are finishing up a car for Pebble Beach and another for SEMA, so we are
focused on that. We will turn our attention on this kit and a new gen 2 Camaro kit soon.

Any idea when this will be available? And have you considered making it tall enough to incorporate the existing radio opening, similar to how the stock console does? I'm not sure what I would do with the original hole if it doesn't.

The kit includes a full dash that covers the existing dash, we will have some pictures next week of the complete dash. The door panels will be installed the first week in January.
The complete kit will be available in January.

Our mustang dash kit is now available. This one will be set up with our Gen 2 console. Our Machete console also fits this body.
These pictures show the parts in the mock up stage, they will move the console forward a little more so it lines up with the lower dash and the glove box door on the dash needs to be installed before every thing is bolted together.
We will bolt the brow to the dash and install the glove box door before we ship it. the gaps where the brow meets the dash are there because it isn't bolted together, they are just setting the parts in place at this point. They will take every thing out to finish the body.
In this car, the brow and console will be covered in padded vinyl and the dash will be painted with aluminum panels on the face of the dash and on the shifter plate.

Do you have some more pics? It's kind of hard to tell what the center portion of the dash part looks like. I assume that he gages pods are sized for 5incj auto meters, or something similar? Can I buy just the dash pad and console, or is the dash with the gauge pods necessary? I too am curious about the price.

I will be making a small 4 gauge pod panel that mounts on the dash over the console next week, we can
take some pictures of the parts on the bench so you can see them better.
Yes, the gauge pods on the dash are for 5 inch gauges.
The dash brow is a separate part, so yes, you could just use the top section. It would require a little work to mate it up to the existing dash. This dash kit requires no cutting of the original dash, you just remove
everything and place these parts over the sheet metal.

I would like to do a kit for the 65-66, but at this point I do not have access to a 65-66 mustang to do the pattern work.

This is exactly the type of high end custom interior I am looking for in my 65 Mustang. A pair of great custom door inserts would really help pull this all togther.

The complete kit includes the upper and lower dash, a console and door panels.
Our first kit is being installed in a 67. The car is still at the paint shop. I hope to have some pictures of the completed project soon.

This is a shot of the master patterns for our new Mustang interior. The flange and router guide are removed on the parts.
I will get some pictures of the parts posted for you next week.
