A little background on the car, the car itself came from the factory with a turquoise-like color. It had a black vinyl covered roof, and a black interior. The engine that came with it was a 330 V8 mated with a 3-spd Turbo Hydra-Matic column-shift transmission. The plan is to change it up to a nice metallic dark grey color, with a couple black stripes and put a vinyl top on also. For the engine, an LSX swap is under consideration, with unknown power adders and mated in turn to a Hurst-Driveline Conversion 5 or 6 speed transminssion. The plan is to do a complete body off restoration, but we also are going to change certain components of the car to make it more fun to drive i.e. positronic rear differential , Exhaust, Coilovers or a C6 suspension, and tons of new suspension components. Whether or not it gets F/I is still up in the air, but I am all for it.
At this stage in the build, I am working to replace the entire floorpan, the trunk pan, the bottom of the firewall, the Passenger side front fender, the driver side door, and whatever doesn't appear fixable upon primer removal.

Welcome to the site. Sounds like a good project plan and it should be fun to watch it come together. Quite a few Pro Touring Cutlasses in the works. The Camaro crew better watch out, we're gaining on them ;)
