I like it, big boats are one of my favorites, I like the olds emblems in the wheels,

Very nice build up indeed. I was shocked how rust free it is.

Well done! The Olds looks even more elegant and luxurious than ever. What kind of performance goals did you set out to meet?

Thanks guys and thanks to primate for all his help and for posting the pics.

The car is a blast to drive and runs great and it's still stock. As far as the performance goals I originally just wanted a reliable daily driver but the car kinda got out of hand. Now I have to decide what kind of mods I can get away with and still get decent gas mileage.

The title of this thread is: "dirtpoors delta 88 is finally done"

Then the next thing you write is: "I have to decide what kind of mods I can get away with"

They're never really done, are they?!?

I like it, big boats

Wasn't that a line from Sir Mix a Lot?

Great alternative body and style. Gotta love diversity! Great car.

.............Now I have to decide what kind of mods I can get away with and still get decent gas mileage.
The usuall induction/exhaust would be a good start, although I would go with a quiet free flowing muffler. If you want to get a little more serious, the right cylinder head upgrade would really help out on the street. And with the overdrive tranny, you could probably get away with a little more gear in the rear end................. :drive2: .....I guess they never are done, even the daily drivers.

it has headers and true 2 1/2 duals,so the exhaust is about as far as it can go, sounds great, a little authorative, but quiet enough to where you can easily carry on a normal conversation, and no droning.
dirtpoor is working on an intake setup thats cleaner than whats on there now,
but wth is the right cylinder upgrade?

Yeah cars are never done I have had a 72 442 for 18 years and it just keeps getting better every year.

It's funny you guy's called me on that one.
