fuel pressure regulator location

Guys I have a question, where to locate the fuel pressure regulator for my Fast EFI. I would like to keep the firewall clean is there any down side to mounting this off a bracket on the carb?

Mounting off a bracket off the carb or inline on the fuel log is a great place for the regulator.
