Well, I ran into problems with Driverz, Inc as well but I've got my money back now and I am back in the market (re-opening the search given the opportunity to do so). I'm looking for an 18" wheel with a blend of new school and old school vibe. The car isn't pro-touring, but I really like the look of the cars here and think your opinion is valuable. I did some rough photoshop work to create the images below. Let me know what you think.

Current set up:
57932

Rocket Racing Booster Hyper Silver (budget option):
57933

Schott Crossfire:
57934

Schott Venom:
57935

Rushforth Concept I:
57936

Rushforth Rated X:
57937

I went with 20 X 22" Intros on my 63 and they filled the wheel wells nicely

What tire size did you go with? How was the ride?

Rushforth Rated X from those options.

X2. Check out Centerline Wheels. They don't get the publicity of some but they have some reasonable prices for forged wheels.

I'd go with Rushforths...great quality, exceptional value for the money, and unlike some vendors, you know you will actually GET your wheels ;)

Alright, fellas. I'm down to the Schott Venoms or Rushforth Rated X. Each would have some custom brushwork. For the Venoms, polished hoops, polished spoke face, brushed spoke sides. For the Rated X, polished hoops, brushed spoke face, polished spoke sides. Unfortunately I don't have mock-ups of these specific treatments.

What say you?

I'll be different... I like your current set up. I wouldn't change a thing.

Not so sure on those Rated-X's.. I would go with a nice 5 spoke wheel for your car.

I hear you, Matt, but I am looking to put my mark on the car. What you see now (15" five-spokes) was all done by the previous owner. I want to transform the car and start taking it in a new direction.

A lot of people have agreed with you though... keep it as is or simple 5-spoke. I'm just stubborn! If I were to do the 5-spoke, I'd be real tempted by the Schott Americana or Rushforth Concept I.

Sorry to buck the other opinions here, but i think the schott crossfire's look great on the impala, plus you dont see a bunch of them around.

I'd go with the Salt Shaker above! It has the vintage flair that most of the wheels shown don't, yet it isn't just another knockoff of an all too common wheel, either. My parents have a '63 Vert, and that is the wheel I'd put on it!

I mocked up a couple of additional wheels... the Rushforth Salt Shakers and American Racing Salt Flats. From what Jason tells me, there are no Salt Shakers on the road yet so I had to use his rendering on an old picture of the Impala (pre-drop spindles). I did the American Racing wheel since it's similar.

Rushforth Salt Shaker

AR Salt Flats
58072

This decision is driving me crazy. Not only is it wheel selection, but it's sizing too. Argh! Fortunately Jason has been incredibly helpful. He's a great guy!

After considering the Salt Shakers, I just don't think those are the wheels for me. Instead, I've copied below images of the Impala with Rated-Xs and Super Spokes. I also figured out how to lower the car in Photoshop to how I want it to ultimately appear. I think I should be able to accomplish this simply with lowered coil springs. Here are the wheels:
