Not concerned at this point, more happy that it even fired actually! Motor fired several times but only ran for a split second and would die. Just curious to hear some thoughts or confirm my thoughts.

Had just under 2.5 gallons of gas in a bone dry tank, would there not be quit enough to feed the pump?

No MAP sensor hooked up yet

Air in fuel line? Using vette style filter/regulator. Had it fire about 8-10 times would quit each time.

Even feathered TB lightly to be sure it wasn't too far shut.

Here's a quick vid.... guess I jumped a bit the first time it fired, didn't even notice I did that until I watched the video LOL!!!

Give us some info on the setup. I checked out your build thread, and you've done some awesome work! I didn't see any info on the harness or ECM that you're using. Post some additional info, as well as if you had all sensors in place (i.e. cam position, crank position, MAF, etc.). Has the ECM been reprogrammed for the larger cam? FYI, we do offer mail-order tuning for $225, and that covers one year of free updates! All you will pay for is the applicable shipping fee to get the ECM back to you.

Provide us with some more info, and I'll be glad to help you troubleshoot the issue.

Thanks Trevor,

I had all sensors except MAP (it should be delivered by tomorrow). MAF was plugged in but laying off to the side. ECM, harness is from PSI Conversions in NJ. ECM as I understand has been tuned for the cam, however I'm sure it will still need to be fine tuned.

I'll have MAP and air intake tube in this week to get properly hooked up before I try again.

check for codes, fuel pressure at the rail and spark.

Listening to the video it almost sounds like your fuel pump only has power during cranking. I would recommend a fuel pressure gauge. They are invaluable on these cars. I got on on ebay that had the right adaptor to connect directly to the fuel rail.
