Fuel Pressure Regulator Setup..

Hey guys....i'm about to upgrade my fuel system with fuel pressure regulator setup...just recently installed new comp cam, ported out vortec heads,Rpm air-gap intake,custom tuned 650HP quickfuel/holley carb.. and installed my new fuel pressure gauge with new delco pump to find out it pumping 9.5 lbs into my carb...overload!.heard suppose be around 6lbs...Just wondering how you guys have regulator mounted and setup?...any help is appreciated!

Jegs sells a little plate that mounts to the carb for the regulator

I modified the bracket that comes with the Holley regulators to mount mine like this.
