Are All Delrin Bushings Created Equal?

As the title says are they all the same? Is one brand better than the others? Affco Delrin Bushings vs. UMI Delrin vs. GW Del-A-Lum.

Interesting question. Thanks for including UMI.

When developing our Delrin, we tried six (if I recall correctly) different formulations. We settled on the formulation with the best combination of compressive strength - won't deform over time, impact strength - won't split on pothole impact, lubricity - is slippery enough, and for us - ease of machining for manufacturability. Also, we only use DuPont brand, the makers of trademarked Delrin. This ensures a consistent and quality product.
