Please steer away from these treats and brands - Waggin Train & Milos Kitchen
They are importing chicken from china that has been shutting down dogs Kidneys and killing them !!
I guess this has been known by the FDA since 2007/8.
Here is a links to hundreds of testimonys - http://www.consumeraffairs.com/pets/waggin_train.html (http://www.consumeraffairs.com/pets/waggin_train.html)

Do a quick google search.......dosent take long to find some horrible findings.
WORST PART about it all is that this crap is still on the shelfs for purchase !!!

I never give pre made or packaged treats to any of my dogs, cats etc. It only takes some a few minutes to cook some cheap meat like london broil or chicken. You shouldnt feed anything with onion or garlic powder either.
Snakes are another story.

Made In China = killing our country AND our dogs
it's a shame what people will do to save a buck. Even without this, people would rather support a communist regime that controls and kills its own people, than to either do without, save up and buy american, or buy used.

My dog goes mad for Pig Ears. I believe the ones I buy are mostly made in America.

I'm a big label reader. I avoid any stuff made in china for our animals. It's criminal.

Same here. I feed my dog ground raw turkey and Sojos mix. For treats I give him raw beef "soup" bones.

It's not just dog treats. Look at your Apple Juice container. It'll say 'Concentrate from China'...

Thank you very much for this. These were my dogs favorite treats. Last checkup one of my dogs had they said he developed a heart murmur. Now I know why. They are in the trash. I had been wondering how safe they were anyways

Its easy to get complacent about what we buy on the shelfs. Most people assume anything on a shelf in America is safe. This is a wake up call for me and I am going to buy local products as much as possible from now on.

from dog food to food you put on your table, there are better options. Personally, we grow some food in our own back yard and eat wild berries that grow along our fences and the edge of the woods. You can also take a trip to the local farmer's market and find all sorts of good deals that taste MUCH better than the stuff in most grocery stores. For beef, try finding local farmers that will sell a whole cow. You basically pick the cow, and pay the processor. You can also usually get really good bones there for your dogs.

There are also issues with toys made in china having lead in them. The FDA stopped leaded imports with childrens toys, but couldn't care less when it comes to dog toys ( like tennis balls and squeeze toys).

I'd say roughly 90% of the toys these days are made there, and it's all cheap plastic junk that breaks quickly. I surf ebay and CL to find decent stuff that is old and made here in the States and would rather pass that stuff down. To me, just like in business and with as many parts as I can, it's worth me to pay a little more for US made that will have better quality, last longer, and will support US jobs. The unfortunate part is that most people SAY they support US jobs and care about supporting our country, but they BUY cheap Chinese junk to save a buck...showing that they really don't care, as long as its cheap in price. And the Chinese are taking that to the bank.

seems the Chinese have an over abundance of toxic materials like Lead formaldehyde, Ethelene Glycol that they need to get rid of some how??????? might as well put it in the food

Not dog treat related but I had to laugh, my buddy ordered a bunch of high dollar wood flooring for his house. I was helping him unload it and noticed the box was labled Virginia Mill Works, and in small letters underneath that it said MADE IN CHINA. What a joke.....lol
