I'm thinking about using the Painless fuse box to upgrade from my original box in my 69 camaro convert. I'm not having any problems with the old box but the new box uses newer fuses and has more accessories terminals. Anyone with any experience with this box and making the switch? Is it worth the effort? thanks.

Worth the effort for sure.

Just take your time in doing so.... I actually had fed solder and triple heat shrank every connection and made some other changes to my harness to suit the relocation of a few things.... but it was worth the time spent.

I was thinking of going this route, is it murder to do to a complete car?If my car was gutted it would be ok but my car is a driver? Ballpark on hours? I have a rats nest of wires from the previous owner.

No its not murder. I found it actually to be pretty fun..... but I am looney.

You could slam one in a weekend, but you better have your ducks in a row. There might be a few connectors that you might want to have on hand to finish it up faster..... like new light tail light plugs, etc.
