Okay guys, about to pull the trigger on some wheels...FINALLY! :smoke:
I have a few different backspacing and tire sizes I've been told should fit and just looking for any final advice before I buy expensive things that don't fit!

Not afraid to roll the chrome fender lip but no minitubs or anything extensive.
After researching around here it seems my Options are:

FRONTS:
17x7 with 235/45 and 4" BS ...or....
17x8 with 245/40 and 5" BS
REARS:
17x9.5 with 275/40 and 5.5" BS ....or....
17x9 with 275/40 and 5" BS

Car is a 1967 Camaro convertible. 3" lowering leaf springs in the back, 2" drop spindles in the front with small block springs. Wanting 17" Wheels on all corners, with the car sitting level if not a little bit lower in the front.

Any information I'm missing? Will certain brands of tire bulge more or less and fit better? Will these work, other suggestions, etc? Any pics of DYNO SL wheels? Thanks for any help! It's all a little overwhelming and nerve racking spending this money and not sure if it'll fit! THANK YOU!

Hey Pug,
There's alot of info on the sticky here and also over on Team Camaro. On TC, they have wheels and tires sorted by year for 1st gens. Most people go with the 17x8 front and 17x9.5 rear. On TC, it seems that most go with 4.75" BS on the fronts. I had 5" BS but it was very close to the UCA so I changed to 4.75". I assume the rear is not mini-tubbed. The 9.5 for the rear with 5.5" BS also seems to be the ticket.

Hope this helps,
David
