View Full Version : Ridetech needs more rockstars!
We need more help! If you bleed hotrods ( all kinds, not just pro-touring stuff), you're not afraid to get dirty, work till the job is done, live in Indiana, travel, and make a real difference at a company that cares about that kind of stuff, send me a resume.
[email protected]. Don't call...gotta email a resume.
We specifically need a shock guy (or girl), and a sales/tech person. pay is not great, but you won't starve. The health insurance is good, the 401k is great, and you'll get to work with 38 other hotrodders who care as much as you do. You won't get rich, but you'll have a good time and learn a lot about shocks, suspension, hotrods, and what makes call that stuff tick!

I wish I was in the position to move from California. If you ever open operations here I'll be the first in line with resume in hand.

Heck, if I lived in Indiana, I'd offer to work for free just for the experience. :)

I visited RideTech last summer (twice, even ...) during my cross country Good Guys and Heidt's Suspension Challenge trip and fell in love with the town and local area. Jasper and the surrounding parts are just large enough to have almost every perk that most major cities offer. I say "almost" as I looked but never found a Starbucks. Not sure if is is a good ... or bad, thing.
On the south end of Jasper is RideTech and what impressed me the most was how organized things were. Everyone got along and from my perspective, didn't appear to think of a day spent twisting wrenches, bending tubing, or boxing parts as merely a job. I came away thinking I'd like to work there myself someday.
That lasted until I got home and asked Dave if he'd mind if I moved ...

Can you wait until September??? Need to finish my degree here in Switzerland before coming back. Would love to be at Ride-Tech. Already thought about checking it out when I move back. Would be all over sales/tech, even shock, or toilet guy...

This sounds like a great opportunity. Ive been a fitter/welder at a forklift factory for the past ten years. Im not getting rich but its pretty good job. but a change would be nice and sometimes think id be happier being involved in the hot rod hobby, but i own a house in kansas so it would be kinda hard to pack up and move. Havent been able to visit ridetech but my stepdad scott has been there and said its a very nice place and top notch company. should make a great job for someone who is passionate about hot rodding.

Perhaps you could out-source some of the work to Florida?
Two things about Indiana...it's cheap to live, and it's close to a lot of cool car events!
