Hypothetically is there any value in old titles? I may or may not know someone with a lot of old Michigan titles.

What sort of titles?
I wouldn't mind it if people called me "Grand Duke of Worcheshire Sauce" or "Sir Loin of Beef"

Hypothetically it may be against the law to sell titles...

You may or may not get in a LOT of trouble for selling said titles without cars.

Yes, but they are hard to move anymore. Now our definitions of old may be different but I am thinking 30s and 40s titles. 32 and 34 Ford titles still move for 500 to a 1000, if they got real ford numbers on them. That market is going away no as it becomes easier to get a 32 title for your all new car that resembles a 32 Ford.
Some swap meet guys have been selling them as "collector items" and getting away with it.
It's not something I would get involved in.
