Bumper??

I was reading a Hot Rod mag from a month or two ago and they had some low buck build up pro-tourers and one was a 74 Nova! Now in the caption of the artists rendering they said that they put 68-72 Nova bumpers on the 74 to tuck them in closer to the body! Does anyone have any help for this? I know that 73-74 X Bodys had some serious bumpers put on, when they don't really need them and I am trying to eliminate the 2" or so rubber body extensions they used in 73-74 to clean up the bumper area! Any help guys?????

There was a recent discussion of this on the Nova email Listserv. You might want to think of subbing there as well and asking this very same question. LOTS of good guys, Novas and off-topic B.S. on that list. I've been a member for 6 years.
