Tried to post in new product area of the site and couldnt, possibly because i'm not a vendor? I got my hands on the new catalog yesterday at the pleasanton Goodguys show and scanned in the pics and thought I'd share. The DSE rep I spoke to said the front will be about $6-7k less brakes. Im not going to cast judgement till I get to see it up close and installed and can ask more questions and address anything I think may be of concern. So far the stuff looks pretty cool. here they are:

this page shows the front bolt in Craddle/Cross member. if you look it has a top and bottom and will have sleeves that prevent the frame from crushing when you "pinch" the original frame. for the install looks to be a total of 10 bolts that hold it in there.

rear suspension pics. The Rep told me they tested both a watts and panhard and both worked the same for them so the final setup will be panhard not the watts as shown:

Thanks for taking the time to scan and upload those. I've been interested in what DSE is going to produce for the Mustangs. They were not at the Dallas Goodguys show so I did not get to take a look.

^^^ yeah no problem. I too had been very curious BUT i had already spent about $7k on my front setup and since I'm only going to get "used" price for my current setup I mine as well run what I got for now until they fine tune this and I get a chance to see in person!

Thanks for putting that up. I don't have a scanner and was trying to figure out how to do it.

They have been running the 265 mm tire in the front and have had no problems so they are going to a 275 to see if there are issues.

No watts link is also what I was told. DSE tested back to back and the track times were nearly identical but the panhard bar "felt" better to a couple of different drivers.....simple is better.

yeah they listed 265 in front for 65-66 cars, 275 up front for 67-68, 295 for 69-70 cars. I know Mike Maier's setup is still a factoruy style upper and lower with a coil over and he's running a 265 up front on an early car.

im assuming since its a roush/yates motor it probably has a different set of cams in it but one of the nice thing about the coyote motors is "ghost cam " tunes out there that take advantage of the VVT!!

well the front setup is too pricey for my blood..i'll just stick with TOPORANGER pro-touring bellybar/export/monte bar with essentric kit and shelbydrop/mav swaybar and purchase coilover kit and r/p when im able too..

as for the rear, would you all agree that this would be easier to narrow for a maverick compared to making a totalcost involved torque arm setup fit like a fellow member did?

Any details on the headers, I am excited if they make a set to fit the 3v modular as this is one area of my build where I don't have many options.

You try sanderson? I'd call rather then just look at their site because they keep notes on custom sets and can probably make you some. Also check with Ford motorsport as they are always updating.

This is it. I was told at Sema to look for the release around spring/summer of 2012. when I spoke to the DSE rep at the good guys show in March he clued me in as to how it was going to mount in and a rough price range which I think I mentioned in the first post. Other then that it sounded like DSE was doing the Final shake downs on their test car. Not sure what other info you may be looking for but DSE is keeping actual pics, specs, etc undercover until its ready for release. I would either shoot Dse a call or Keep an eye out on the News section of their website, Or maybe I can answer the question? I have very limited knowledge on this product and am pretty sure I've shared everything I have been told.

As far as I know they are not offering a digital catalog at this moment. if you want a copy of the current 11.0 catalog, I'm sure a quick call to them could get one on the way in the mail.

DSE advised me the release date is scheduled to be the Good Guys Columbus show in July, pricing is expected to be similar to existing DSE Chevy offerings.

Man! I really need to win the lottery. My car needs a refresh and this set up looks perfect! I've complained for so long that our Fords just don't get the love that the GM cars get. We don't have that excuse now. DSE, if you need a convertible 67 as a prototype just let me know and I'll send it your way.

I'll second that. If Dse needs a mock up cougar to get the rear suspension dialed for the added cougar wheel base I volunteer! I'll even pay to ship it there and back! LOL
