AeroCatch hood latches. Has anyone had them in use for a while? Are they holding up?

I HATE hood pins but, I must install a pair of them. So, I am looking into the AeroCatch latches.

I found a few discussions on them but didn't see any pictures of them on a Camaro or have heard how they worked out.

Do you have them?

Have you had them long?

How are they holding up?

Did you ditch the factor latch?

Can't say as to how long they'll hold up, but I've got a set going into my 71 Firebird...hood's all cut for them (its in paint today actually).
They work nice, smooth etc.

Not sure if you can see the strikers (red) on the ends of the radiator support.....

I should get some better pics of this.

They are reverse mounted due to the needed location for the striker and clearance for the lock unit in the hood.
