Kinda on a small budget and I suck at tabbing stuff. What can I pull a disc equipped rear end out of that will fit under my 83 regal?

As a bartender I would have thought you'd be good with tabbing stuff...but if you meant fabbing stuff, different story. The G-body rear end has a unique link setup and is not the most conducive to easy, low-budget, low-fab rear axle swaps unless it's from another G-body and facotry rear discs were not an option for the G-body AFAIK.

Tobin is right, no G-body had rear discs. Speedway Motors has a kit for your existing rear axle here: http://www.speedwaymotors.com/Complete-Rear-Disc-Brake-Kits-78-88-GM-Metric-Caliper,31752.html
I don't have any experience with it, but it looks like the brackets weld on to the axle tube instead of bolting on.

I'm currently installing a kit similiar to the speedway one linked above and it is most definitely NOT what you are after. The pictured rotor hats have too much backspacing and a g-body axle tube is 2.625" not 3" as is required for the weld on brackets. Usually I've had good luck with Speedway but not the case here...
Doing a couple of Google searches this http://www.bensclassiccarparts.com/servlet/the-9/Buick-Regal-Grand-National/Detail appears to be a lowish cost bolt on alternative, but I'm not familiar with it.

Found a couple more that look like they would work on a g-body through Speedway, again no direct experience.

Little bit of cutting involved, but it's close to a bolt-on:

Not true. There was a factory option for rear disks on certain models. They were the same calipers as the front, but that is all i remember.

I'd love to see documentation on that. I've never seen or heard of a G-body with "factory" rear discs.
No offense, but that's in line with the "factory" 350s that some G-bodies allegedly came with. May have been a dealer option, but none of those cars left the assembly line with rear disc brakes.

I have to agree with Dave, I would have to see documentation on that as well.

I just pulled the rear discs off the back of my Monte. It uses 93-97 F body calipers, Vette 12" rotors (from around 95 model year I think) & Baer brackets to mount them to the G body rear flange.

Sorry I gotta agree with Dave, I have never seen/heard of any G bodies with factory rear discs. I argued the 350 Monte SS too for years, but I have seen the factory brochure from GM stating 350 as an engine. But it was only available in Mexico.

Wouldn't 98+ blazer rear disks bolt on?

What does the flange look like on the end of the axle? In the 80's, the S10 had the same flange, but I don't believe anything had disc brakes. GM used a b@sturd flange on the G bodies that made it hard to swap brakes from anything else. It looks like this:

here is what i did with my factory 7.5 rear end to adapt brakes.
i made a caliber bracket that bolt to the axle flange and then i used a lt1 Camaro rear rotor i needed a .064 of shimming on the left side and .078 on there right pretty simple deal took me a few hrs to get it all worked out.

If they had a normal 4 bolt pattern flange like most 10 bolts(I know the GNXs used an 8.5) a 79-81 Trans Am setup might work. Not a great caliper but they are OK. Scarebird has some other kits that use the TA/Cadillac caliper.
