My name is Kaine and I am in the midst of putting my '68 Lemans back on the road. I would not dare say I am mechanically inclined but I do relish turning my own wrenches. The car is a bit rough and presently going through a slow 5.3/4l60e swap. While gathering parts, I thought it would be wise to improve the suspension and handling, as well as replacing the drums with disc brakes all around. A buddy of mine on LS1tech recommended this site, and said you guys were very helpful and realistic about budgets. I have attached a link to my extremely slow build. http://ls1tech.com/forums/forced-induction/1500359-68-lemans-turbo-build.html

Kaine,

Love the 68 and the C5 in the background pic in your thread! Let me know once you are ready to upgrade the suspension so that this will handle like it should! Have you decided on a color & wheels and tires yet?

We are developing some great stuff for the 64-72 GM A-bodies right now so it will be ready by the time you are. You can do this car on any budget so just call me and Ill help you figure out the best combination for your budget!
