Just doing some comparing? I'm wanting a 4L65 for my 451" BB . The Keisler kit looks good. Just wondering what my options are? Is there anyone else who makes the same kit for an E-Body?
Thanks Brad

The kit concept is convenient and affordable at the expense of quality and performance. A 451 BB is bad ass. If you would like to build your own system worthy of that engine, we'll be glad to help: Bellhousing, converter, computer as well as provide referrals for a transmission.
Thanks

Thanks Steve but me being here in Canada the shipping would be a killer using various vendors. I did search around and found most all the pieces of the kit, but didn't save much doing it that way?

The hot ticket is to first examine how much input torque will be coming from that 451, then look at how much traction there will be at the other end. Then we can work backwards to try and accommodate the budget. Once it's all laid out on paper, we can help corral all the bits to consolidate shipping. We fall short on the crossmember, but really shine on the critical stuff like converter and calibration.

Give me a call.

It's nothing too crazy. It's going to be 99% a street car with street tires. max Hp is 520 @ 5500 and 575 tq @ 4000. This was figured with a "desk top dyno" program after inputting all the specs as it's not assembled yet.
