Hey guys-
I just wanted to let you know that RTOS Registration is now open: http://americanstreetcarseries.com/?page_id=886. We will be camping out under the stars for this one at Carolina Motorsport Park! You won't even have to drive to the track; you'll wake up there! Camping space is available for Friday and Saturday night; prices are as follows: 20 amp or less: $10/night, 30 amp: $25/night. Showers and restrooms are available. On Friday, starting around 5pm, we will be Go-Karting... karting is limited to the first 30 people who sign up!! On Saturday, we will have our 'At the Track' which will include autocross, speed/stop, track time, and one dinner. Saturday night's dinner will be a Low Country Boil; please feel free to invite friends and family to participate! If you have any questions, please email me: [email protected] THANKS!

yes, spectators are free. If you want to camp or attend the dinner, you'll still need to register, so that we can reserve your spot and have enough dinner for everyone!

ill be there, but unfortulately only as a spectator. had some financial trouble hit us in the midst of a job change, so im not spending ANY extra money we dont have to. sucks too, as CMP is my home track.

What's the registered users vs. available spots count so far? I've managed to sell a computer that'll cover my registration costs as long as I can get paid for it before the event fills up!

Does anyone know if we're running the Full, East or West course?

Mike Holleman

I certainly hope the full course. It is not a big track at 2.2 miles and not any faster than NJ. The back straights have doglegs that slow you down somewhat. I have only ran there with my racecar that has no speedo, but I'm guessing I never saw 130. Nice technical track. You can learn a bunch about your car there. Can't wait. Mike

Cool, glad to hear your going to make it. It was a blast hanging out at rttc when Albert and I came up to the dyno.

Jeff,
I will be arriving around 7ish Friday night, but I'm not camping at the track (I know, I know). Can I come on up to the track for tech inspection, and what is the possibility of leaving my car and trailer at the track instead of the Hotel ?

David ,
I don't know the answer to this .
You better ask Jess Howell ( Bill's daughter ) [email protected]

I'm pretty sure that there is room to park your trailer at the track ..
We'll all be there camping anyway ..

And the Tech Inspection will be going on for a while on Friday Night ..
If we don't get to it Friday evening , then you can be one of the guys that gets it done Saturday AM ..
