does anybody know what i can do to fix my steering shaft or is there one i can use off other car.

There is one from a Jeep that works. It has a solid joint, not the rag joint. Check over at montecarloss.com. Someone there is always selling them.

Looks like Cherokee & Grand Cherokee. I'd go search montecarloss.com for the correct year.

Any of them will work, but if you can find the one with the stamped coupler rather than the cast one, they are a little easier to use, but eithr will work. The cast ones are sometimes a bear to spread apart enough to get on your steering box shaft.

Love the Monte BTW! It reminds me a LOT of Project Grocery Getter!

Beautiful car! MC87SS I believe is the screen name of the guy that sells the Jeep shafts...I just did one from him in my Iroc, easy upgrade.

i hope we will get some respect these are great cars and fun to drive. some of the mods that i have done are a hotchkins suspension kit, and all new steering parts up front,new 383 stroker,new monster trans 200r4 and new interior.

Does any body know what is the max width and back spacing wheel I can run on the back of Monte Carlo with out doing any modification to the frame .
