So yea.. I decided to share some of my drawings of my cars and other weird things I work on with my offtime..



so first up..

I got to thinking.. many guys refer to their cars as a Woman.. me included..

well.. what would MY car look like as a pinup?

heres what I did... I drew it out by hand and then worked it over..

I wanted to do them in a "pinup" fashion, so thats how it came out...

Some on here know I mess with classic Japanese cars..

one of my cars is a 72 Celica Coupe..

well.. in Japan these Celicas are knicknamed "DARUMA" Celicas..

which are these..

they signify new goals set each year and stand as a reminder to completing them.. when you push the Daruma Doll over.. it bobbles back up.. like a "Sockem Clown"

so I got to thinking...

If these are Daruma Celicas.. what would one look like?

so i designed one... handmade it.. and painted it..

During the mid '70s my brother had a chubby for those early Celicas. He would probably fall in love with your's.

Hopefully we can meet when I get out there. I too think early Japanese cars are wicked although I have this dorky unwritten rule that I can only own GMs. When I was looking for a cummuter car so I could tear into my wagon I was really interested in an early 80's Corolla wagon that was on ebay, but after cost and shipping it was outta my budget. I'd love to see yours and your boy's rides, and especially to have a peek at your portfolio. :cool:
