Here is a rundown of the setup I have;
C5 front brakes
LS1 rear brakes with an ebrake inside of the rotor
LS1 master cylinder
80 WS6 prop valve with insides removed
inline Wilwood adjustable prop valve
All new hardlines, and all new flex lines
I have bled and bled the brakes, I have a friend pump the pedal twice and hold, and i start from the rear passenger, and make my way around the wheels going from farthest from master cylinder, I have bled the mastery cylinder also. Somehow I keep getting air in the system, I have triple checked all the fittings and everythign is super tight and not leaking, so i don't see how i could be sucking in air. Everytime consistently I get air at each wheel, 2-3 times, then on the fourth set of pumping the pedal and holding, it is solid fluid. I have a vacuum hosing going inside a bottle with brake fluid in it, so the hose stays submerged so i can't suck air, but i can see the fluid/bubbles coming out. It is exactly the same at each wheel 2-3 times i will get a lot of air an then the 4th and 5th time solid fluid. No matter what I still get the exact same results.
The pedal feel is not the best, it pushes down about 2 1/2" and then gets hard, so the first part of the stroke must have air in it?
Here is something that might be important, when the helper is pushing the brake pedal, you can hear the fluid swishing in the rear hard lines, especially on the driver side. ON the driver side I have one caliper upside down, because of hte brake setup, I couldn't get 2 left hand side calipers, But when i bleed that caliper i take it off, and have the bleeder facing up, with a block inbetween the brake pads.
I am stuck here, obvioulsy there is some major air in the rear brake lines, since the fluid is swishing, but then why do i have air coming out of the front lines also? Where could this air be coming from? HELP!! Thanks!!
